SABRINA LYNN GORE

2018

Sabrina Lynn Gore couldn’t be more excited to be a part of the Victory Dolls with some of the finest ladies in the state!!! Born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, she started school in Germany as an Army brat. Her family was stationed back to the U.S. when she was 7 and she spent her youth living all over the country. She eventually transplanted from NYC, where she graduated with a B.A. from the School for Film and Television and lived for many years and is now a proud resident of South Florida where she lives with her extremely photogenic Aussie/Catahoula mix, Biscuit and her partner, Mike! Sabrina has been an active member of the South Florida theatre community for over 14 years. A critically acclaimed performer and Director she’s also a Silver Palm Award winner and Carbonell nominated actress and Producer. A vocal advocate for community and growth, she’s often behind the scenes helping to nurture smaller, local companies by acting as a Volunteer Advisor. She is also a certified NASM Nutrition Coach, a certified Guardian Ad Litem for Palm Beach County, and an Ordained Minister. Some favorite roles she’s played so far include:

Diana (Next to Normal), Christine Colgate (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), Sara (Murder Ballad), Emma Borden (Lizzie: the Musical), Queenie (Lippas: The Wild Party) Erato (Xanadu), Emilia (Othello), Velma Kelly (Chicago), Mrs. Lyons (Blood Brothers), Beatrice (Much Ado About Nothing).

I have a deep appreciation for groups like Post Modern Jukebox and other similar Andrews Sisters style groups that have made this type of music accessible again; I like to sing modern, jazz/blues covers of 80’s songs so this kind of thing really was the next logical step in my music progression. I’d wanted to do more concert and cabaret shows but didn’t really know how to start. I also truly enjoy working with and supporting other women in our business. And, knowing our states population, it always seemed odd to me that there wasn’t already something like this out there… We have a ready-made audience! I guess the stars aligned at last – when this opportunity presented itself, I couldn’t pass it up!

Aside from being an avid music and theatre lover, she is also a passionate cook and is fascinated with nutrition. She loves to experiment with fresh ingredients, specializing in creating healthy versions of comfort foods. Sabrina also loves fitness, dance, reading crime novels, and binge watching Netflix shows, horror movies, and documentaries. The thing she is most proud of however is her activism and community service. Sabrina strongly believes that the only way to make real change in the world is to actually get out in the world and change it. She is an extremely outspoken advocate for Arts in Education, believing every child should have access to arts programs in school and in their community. She is also a Guardian Ad Litem for Palm Beach County, an ordained Minister, and is an activist for Women’s Equality and LGBTQ+ Rights. Sabrina’s ultimate career goal is to become a Director and she hopes to eventually open her own Community Arts Center for under-privileged youth.
